PULSE & BAR

Privacy

Your music stays with you. Here is what the site actually handles.

Tools and playback

Tap times, tempo calculations and metronome audio are processed in your browser. We do not request microphone permission, record sound or upload music. The tools do not send their settings to an application database. A link can include a BPM value in its URL; the hosting service may log that URL when requested. Do not place private information in shared URLs.

The music tools themselves do not use cookies or browser storage. Google AdSense and Google’s Privacy & messaging consent platform are loaded; they contact Google and can store a consent record. No audience analytics tag is installed. Ad requests are paused while site approval is pending. Downloaded CSV and JSON files are saved on your device. Opening a settings file reads it locally; it is not uploaded. External reference links contact their own websites only if you follow them.

Contact messages

The contact form stores your message privately on this website’s hosting account. Name and email are optional. If you give an email, it may be used to respond manually, but no automatic email delivery or reply is promised. Do not submit passwords, recordings, financial details or other sensitive information.

The form uses a short-lived security token, a hidden spam field and a limit of three accepted messages per hour for a keyed network identifier. The application stores a keyed hash derived from the request IP for rate limiting rather than a plain IP address in the message file. Temporary rate records are cleaned during later form requests. Messages older than 90 days are deleted during a later form request; the operator can also delete them manually.

Hosting and operation

Hostinger serves the site and may process ordinary access and security logs, such as IP addresses, requested URLs and browser information, under its hosting arrangements. We do not control a visitor’s browser, device, ISP or external links. The hosting operator can access stored contact messages for administration.

To ask about a message or request its removal, use Contact and include its reference if available. The operator must review the private inbox manually. There is no newsletter. Advertising-related choices are described below.

Google services and your choices

Google AdSense is the advertising provider. Its certified Privacy & messaging platform displays a consent message where European consent rules apply. It explains the advertising purposes and participating partners, lets you decline in one step or customize choices, and remembers your decision. You can return to Privacy & cookie settings in the footer to change or withdraw consent. If the message does not apply in your region, the footer explains that. The music tools remain available regardless of your choice.

The integration sends ordinary request information such as IP address, browser details and page URL to Google to operate these services. If advertising is activated after approval, cookies or device identifiers may be used for advertising, fraud prevention and measurement, subject to the applicable consent choices. The current release pauses all ad requests, including after consent. We do not enable Google Analytics or collect music files.

Google’s CMP saves your choices in a cookie named FCCDCF for a maximum of 390 days. Choices may be requested again when that record expires or requirements change. Google and its partners describe their separate advertising-cookie retention periods in their notices. See how Google uses information from sites using its services, Google’s cookie information, and the partner details in the consent message for vendor purposes and retention.

Email and requests

You can contact the operator at info@pulseandbar.com. Hostinger hosts this mailbox and processes messages and normal delivery and security information. Mailbox messages are managed manually; they are not subject to the contact form’s automatic 90-day cleanup. Ask for removal by email or through the form, quoting a reference if available. We use the information you supply to handle your request; there is no newsletter.
