Using the tools
Pulse & Bar provides free browser tools for music practice and timing calculations. You can use the results and downloaded files in your own work. Check settings and results before relying on them in a performance or production.
What the tools do
Tap tempo measures your input intervals, not an uploaded recording. The metronome is a browser practice aid, not a certified clock. The delay calculator gives rhythmic periods, not an ideal effect setting or acoustic model. The site does not assess health, musical ability or professional qualifications.
Your files and feedback
Settings files are read locally. Do not put credentials or sensitive information into contact messages. You are responsible for keeping copies of downloaded settings. No account, paid subscription or commercial support commitment is offered.
Availability and changes
The tools may change or be unavailable. No promise of uninterrupted operation or a specific musical result is made. Nothing here is intended to remove rights that apply to you under applicable law. Corrections can be submitted through Contact.
